A mother of two from Rogiet has won the 55-59 women’s age-group title at the T100 Age Group World Championships in Qatar, capping a decade-long transformation after struggling to swim in 2014.
She completed her first IRONMAN in 2015 and, despite a year-long setback from stomach surgery, dominated the race, winning by nearly 20 minutes.
She credited consistency, improved health, and mental well-being for her success.
The event, which also crowned professional champions Kate Waugh and Hayden Wilde, brought over 250 amateur athletes together with pros on the same course, with Beck praising its organization and support.
