A mother of two from Rogiet has won the 55-59 women’s age-group title at the T100 Triathlon World Championships in Qatar, capping a decade-long transformation that began in 2014 when she couldn’t swim.
She completed her first IRONMAN in 2015 and, despite a mid-year setback from stomach surgery, dominated the race, winning by nearly 20 minutes.
She credited her success to consistency, improved health, and mental well-being.
The event, which also crowned professional champions Kate Waugh and Hayden Wilde, brought together over 250 amateur and pro athletes on the same course.
