Two men sentenced for orchestrating 25 Porsche thefts across Greater Manchester in 2024, valued at £1 million.
Two men, Eidmantas Sadauskas, 34, and Vytautas Ceponis, 35, were sentenced to prison for orchestrating 25 Porsche thefts across Greater Manchester from January to October 2024, with a total value of about £1 million.
The cars were stolen from areas including Salford, Bury, and Manchester, with authorities believing they were targeted for resale, possibly abroad.
Police used CCTV, ANPR data, and surveillance to identify the suspects, seizing tools and a blank key during a stop near Cheshire on October 16.
Both men pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal vehicles at Minshull Street Crown Court on November 24 and were sentenced on December 19.
Several Porsches have been recovered, but efforts continue to locate the remaining vehicles.
