India begins construction of a $120 million spiritual complex in Haridwar, set to open in 2032.
India's Vishva Sanatan Mahapeeth, a 1,000 crore rupee spiritual complex, will be built in Haridwar on nearly 100 acres, following Vedic architecture and spanning from 2025 to 2032.
Laid on November 21 with Vedic rituals, the project led by Pujya Tirthacharya Ram Vishal Das Ji Maharaj aims to become a global hub for Sanatan Dharma, integrating spirituality, education, culture, and service.
It will include a Gurukul for 2,000 students, Veda Mandirs, a cow protection center, a Sanatan Time Museum, and a Dharma Sabha ground.
A key feature is the annual training of one lakh 'Satakwadi Sanatan Warriors' in yoga, self-defense, discipline, and social responsibility.
