A former Newcastle real estate boss, charged with multiple sexual assaults, is out of house arrest after court ruled his bail conditions too strict.
Anthony Di Nardo, a 53-year-old former Newcastle real estate executive, is no longer under house arrest after a Newcastle Local Court ruled his previous bail conditions were excessive.
He was arrested December 9, 2024, and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and indecent conduct involving five former Belle Property employees from 2005 to 2022.
The court lifted his strict curfew, allowing him to be out until 11 p.m., but imposed new conditions: no contact with witnesses or certain staff, no alcohol or drugs without prescription, surrender of passports, reporting to police twice weekly, and good behavior.
The case, linked to Strike Force Agnes, is set for a hearing on February 11, 2025.
Di Nardo has not entered pleas.
