BharatPe and YES BANK launch interest-free, UPI-powered credit up to 45 days for consumers and merchants, announced December 22, 2025.

BharatPe, in partnership with YES BANK, has launched 'Pay Later with BharatPe,' a credit-on-UPI service powered by NPCI, enabling instant, interest-free credit up to 45 days for consumers and merchants. The product, accessible via the BharatPe app, allows users to make UPI payments for shopping, recharges, and bills with no paperwork and immediate approval. Borrowers can repay in full or through 3- to 12-month EMIs, with credit limits resetting upon repayment. The service targets underserved users and small merchants, offering Zillion coin rewards for transactions. It leverages BharatPe’s NBFC license and YES BANK’s digital underwriting capabilities to deliver scalable, secure credit within India’s UPI ecosystem. The launch was announced on December 22, 2025.
