Akhilesh Yadav accuses BJP of deleting MGNREGA cards and weakening rural jobs via new bill with unequal funding.

Yadav also questioned the government’s renaming of MGNREGA and accused state governments of data manipulation, claiming policy shifts weaken vital welfare programs despite rising rural unemployment and inflation.
The bill was passed on December 18 and assented to on December 21.
