A survey by St Patrick’s Mental Health Services finds 78% of adults and 80% of parents believe social media and smartphone use harm mental health.
Growing anxiety is linked to international conflict (48%, up from 41% in 2024), housing issues (24%), climate change (14%), and global news (31%).
