A 30-year-old Rochester man, Cesar Corrales, was charged with multiple felonies after allegedly threatening police officers during his arrest on December 21, 2025. Officers stopped him during a routine license plate check and found an active arrest warrant. Corrales resisted arrest, kicked officers, and yelled he had guns and grenades while threatening a witness. In the squad car, he claimed to be a member of the Mexican Mafia and warned officers they would be targeted. He faces three felony counts of threatening and one gross misdemeanor count of obstructing justice. Bail was set at $100,000, and he is scheduled for a court appearance later this month.
