AEW Dynamite, taped December 20 at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, featured Bandido defeating Ricochet in the Dynamite Diamond Ring final, Jack Perry defeating PAC in a Continental Classic Gold League match, and Kris Statlander confronting Jamie Hayter ahead of their Worlds End title match. Konosuke Takeshita and Mascara Dorada advanced in the Blue League, while MJF was attacked by Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland, who criticized his leadership. The Young Bucks announced they won’t be active for the rest of the year, and six more Continental Classic matches were set for the Christmas Collision event. The show aired on TBS and HBO Max on December 24.
