The Africa Cup of Nations will go quadrennial starting in 2028, with a new African Nations League launching in 2029.
The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will shift from a biennial to a quadrennial tournament starting in 2028, following the 2027 edition co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
