Three men charged in Canada with terrorism and hate-motivated attempted kidnappings linked to ISIS.
Toronto police and the RCMP have charged Waleed Khan, 26, with terrorism-related offenses linked to ISIS, including conspiring to commit murder, providing funds and property to the group, and aiding terrorist activity between June 17 and August 17, 2025.
Alongside Khan, Osman Azizov, 18, and Fahad Sadaat, 19, were arrested in connection with two attempted kidnappings in May and June involving armed men targeting women in the Greater Toronto Area.
The suspects face 79 charges total, including attempted kidnapping with a firearm, sexual assault with a weapon, and hate crimes.
Police seized weapons and evidence during raids, and a joint investigation known as Project Neapolitan uncovered a hate-motivated plot targeting women and Jewish individuals.
A court-ordered publication ban remains in place, and the men are set to appear in court on January 29, 2026.
