Indonesia's president signed 50,030 subsidized home loans in a record single event, advancing affordable housing nationwide.
On December 20, 2025, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto marked a record milestone by overseeing the signing of 50,030 subsidized home loans, the largest single event of its kind in the nation’s history.
The nationwide initiative, part of the 3 Million Housing program, aims to improve living standards and boost local economies by providing affordable housing through the FLPP and KPR schemes.
As of December 19, over 263,000 subsidized housing units worth Rp32.67 trillion had been distributed across 401 cities and districts, involving banks, developers, and housing projects.
The program offers low down payments, waived fees, and affordable monthly installments, with beneficiaries including teachers, vendors, and workers.
Prabowo emphasized quality, anti-corruption efforts, and inclusive growth, while officials highlighted economic benefits and direct government engagement through virtual dialogues and key handovers.
