A grand jury won’t indict Trevor Moses in Christopher Temple’s January death due to insufficient evidence and self-defense claims.
A Caddo Parish grand jury has declined to indict Trevor Moses, 26, in the January 26 death of Christopher Temple, 43, in downtown Shreveport, citing insufficient evidence and the possibility of self-defense.
Temple died on February 15 after falling and hitting his head during a fight on Commerce Street.
Surveillance footage confirmed the altercation but not the fatal blow.
Medical records showed Temple had a blood alcohol level of .205% post-incident, and investigators found he had struck Moses multiple times before the fall.
The two men did not know each other.
The case is now closed, marking Shreveport’s fifth homicide of 2025.
Separately, four men were indicted in three other Shreveport homicides.
Un gran jurado no acusará a Trevor Moses en la muerte de Christopher Temple en enero debido a pruebas insuficientes y reclamos de defensa propia.
