Dublin City Council has approved a revised €295 million apartment project on former RTÉ land in Donnybrook, reducing the development from 608 to 510 units and eliminating all 'Build to Rent' homes.
The plan includes 326 two-bedroom, 125 one-bedroom, 51 three-bedroom units, and eight studios across eight blocks, with three reaching 10 storeys.
The project, by Cairn Homes, includes a €5.43 million contribution to public infrastructure and a commitment to sell 51 units to Dublin City Council for social housing.
Only one local objection was filed, and an appeal is unlikely to delay construction due to a 16-week deadline for decisions by An Bord Pleanála.
