Canadian agency recalls Arnie’s nuts over salmonella risk; no illnesses reported.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Arnie’s All Natural Raw Mix Nuts and Arnie’s Sweet and Savoury Mix sold in Ontario from November 1 to December 2 due to possible salmonella contamination. The products were distributed in Barrie, Brampton, and Vaughn. No illnesses have been reported, but consumers are advised not to eat them and to return or discard the items. Salmonella can cause serious illness, especially in vulnerable groups, and contaminated foods may appear normal. The recall was triggered by routine testing.
