Harinderpal Athwal, 41, of Oldbury, has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash on Soho Road in Stourbridge on December 16, 2025. A 54-year-old man died at the scene, and a 47-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening leg injuries and remains hospitalized. Police recovered a Vauxhall Corsa believed to be the vehicle involved. Athwal faces multiple charges, including causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving while disqualified and uninsured, and causing serious injury. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on December 18. Authorities are urging witnesses to contact West Midlands Police.
