Liberty Global sells UPC Slovakia to O2 Slovakia for €95M, pending approval.
Liberty Global has agreed to sell its UPC Slovakia broadband operations to O2 Slovakia, a unit of e&PPF Telecom, for €95 million.
The deal, pending regulatory approval, values UPC Slovakia at about 7 times its 2025 adjusted EBITDA.
UPC serves over 600,000 households across 80 cities with high-speed internet, while O2 Slovakia aims to expand its nationwide fixed broadband footprint to offer bundled mobile and broadband services.
The acquisition supports e&’s growth strategy in Central and Eastern Europe and will be financed through a mix of cash and debt.
