Bollywood film Dhurandhar, featuring a viral Arabic hip-hop track, earns ₹500 crore and spawns a sequel.
The Bollywood film Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, has grossed over ₹500 crore in India and sparked a viral sensation with the track FA9LA, a Bahraini Arabic hip-hop song by Flipperachi.
The song gained global attention after Khanna’s spontaneous dance in the film, which resonated widely on social media despite the song’s Arabic lyrics.
Though the film is banned in several Gulf countries due to its perceived anti-Pakistan stance, Flipperachi, who created the track, expressed surprise and gratitude over its success, calling Indian audiences "masters of entertainment" and confirming plans to visit India.
The film’s strong performance has led to the announcement of Dhurandhar Part 2, set for release on March 19, 2026.
