A 19-year-old Ontario man, Ethan Lehouillier, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection with a May 2025 drunk driving crash in Etobicoke that killed three siblings—15-year-old Romone Lavina, 13-year-old Jace Lavina, and 6-year-old Maya Lavina.
Lehouillier, who was driving at nearly 170 km/h with a blood alcohol level of 185 mg per 100 mL, lost control exiting Highway 401, struck a median, and collided with a minivan.
The crash also injured the children’s mother and two other children, who were hospitalized but stabilized.
He admitted to three counts each of impaired driving causing death and bodily harm, reducing the original 12 charges.
A sentencing hearing is set for February 2026.
