Retired college football coach Nick Saban, 74, has become a minority owner of the NHL’s Nashville Predators through his company Dream Sports Ventures LLC, alongside business partner Joe Agresti.
The deal, confirmed by team chairman Bill Haslam, marks Saban’s latest move after retiring from coaching in January 2024 and joining ESPN as an analyst.
Saban, a seven-time national champion, cited his passion for sports and competitive drive as motivations.
The Predators’ ownership remains largely local, with Saban and Agresti joining as new minority stakeholders.
The duo also co-own Dream Motor Group, a southeastern luxury car dealership chain.
