The decision, handed down on December 16, 2025, stems from a dispute over Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid on a free transfer after seven seasons. The court found PSG failed to pay three months of salary, an ethics bonus, and a signing bonus, dismissing claims of a binding "gentlemen’s agreement" and Mbappé’s allegations of moral harassment. PSG said it will comply and may appeal.
