Olympic stars including Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, and Melissa Jefferson-Wooden are among dozens owed six-figure sums by Grand Slam Track, the professional track league that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 2025.
McLaughlin-Levrone is listed as the fifth-largest creditor, owed $365,250, while others were owed between $190,625 and $250,000.
The league, founded by Michael Johnson, canceled its final event in Los Angeles due to financial issues and reported liabilities between $10 million and $50 million to 200 to 999 creditors.
It plans to restructure and return with a more sustainable financial model.
