The Sarvejana Health Care Foundation, based in Hyderabad, has reduced road accidents by 67% at targeted locations using low-cost fixes like signage and better junction designs.
Through its Road Safety Championship, backed by Telangana’s government, over 1,100 schools and 380,000 students have participated, while its "STOP ROAD ACCIDENT" quiz app drew more than 15,000 users.
The nonprofit also runs public awareness campaigns and cultural initiatives, has signed 15 MoUs with academic institutions, and aims to launch a pan-India movement aligned with global road safety goals.
