GE HealthCare wins contract to deliver 300 CT scanners to Indonesian public hospitals by 2028, part of a World Bank-backed health initiative.
GE HealthCare has won a multi-year contract to supply over 300 advanced CT scanners to public hospitals across all 38 provinces in Indonesia by 2028, part of the World Bank-funded Strengthening Indonesia’s Health Referral Network (SIHREN) program.
The initiative aims to improve access to diagnostics for non-communicable diseases, maternal health, and pandemic preparedness, especially in remote areas.
The project includes a new manufacturing facility in Bogor with PT Kalbe Farma’s Forsta, a Regional Innovation & Training Experience (RITE) Hub in Jakarta, and a separate 2025 contract for 10 MRI systems, supporting local supply chains and healthcare workforce development.
