Chattanooga police captain graduates from elite FBI National Academy program in Virginia.
Chattanooga Police Captain Heather Williams has graduated from the 296th session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, completing an elite 11-week program that trains top law enforcement leaders.
The session, attended by 254 officers from across the U.S., 24 countries, and multiple military and civilian agencies, is highly selective, with fewer than one percent of global law enforcement officers accepted.
Participants received advanced training in leadership, communication, and fitness from FBI instructors.
Since 1935, the academy has trained over 56,000 professionals worldwide.
Williams, who described the experience as humbling and empowering, pledged to apply her training to support her colleagues and community.
