Braintree Royal Mail workers wear Santa costumes Dec. 19–24 to raise funds for Farleigh Hospice.
Royal Mail postmen in Braintree, Essex, are delivering parcels in Santa and elf costumes from December 19 to 24 to raise funds for Farleigh Hospice.
Led by Russell Goodhew and Gerry Gormally, the effort supports the hospice’s free end-of-life care, which requires £21,271 daily and relies on community donations despite 40% NHS funding.
A Christmas jumper and costume day on December 20 and appearances at local events, including a care home party, are part of the campaign.
Donations are accepted via the ‘Braintree Festive Posties’ Just Giving page.
