Cooper Flagg made NBA history at 18, becoming the youngest player to score 40 points, finishing with 42 as the Dallas Mavericks lost 140–133 to the Utah Jazz in overtime. Utah rallied late and dominated OT, led by Keyonte George’s 37 points and Lauri Markkanen’s 33 points and 16 rebounds. Dallas blew an eight-point fourth-quarter lead, was scoreless early in overtime, and saw its five-game winning streak end.
