WOMAD 2026 returns to the UK with its first Scottish show in Glasgow, July 3–4, at Kelvingrove Park.
WOMAD, the global music and arts festival founded by Peter Gabriel in 1982, will make its debut in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2026 at Kelvingrove Park on July 3 and 4.
The event, organized with Glasgow Life and Celtic Connections, marks the festival’s first appearance in Scotland and follows its move from Wiltshire to Neston Park in 2025 after a reorganization break.
Featuring diverse performances across pop, dance, folk, jazz, and hip-hop on three stages, the festival will include free workshops, international cuisine, and cultural discussions.
Glasgow, a UNESCO City of Music, joins other global hosts like New Zealand and Chile in celebrating cultural unity through music amid rising global tensions.
