Newstalk is overhauling its weekday schedule starting February 3, 2026, with Anton Savage returning as the sole host of Newstalk Breakfast. Shane Coleman and Ciara Kelly move to co-host the drivetime show, The Hard Shoulder, while Claire Byrne takes the 9am–12pm slot. Pat Kenny launches a new weekend programme in March. The changes, part of a broader revamp by Bauer Media Audio Ireland, aim to strengthen the lineup with experienced hosts and improve audience engagement.
