Mariah Carey’s 1994 holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has broken the Billboard Hot 100 record with 20 weeks at number one, the longest run in the chart’s history. The song, which first topped the chart in 2019 and has returned annually, surpasses the previous 19-week record held by Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.” This marks Carey’s second time holding the record, having previously done so in 1996 with “One Sweet Day.” She celebrated the milestone on Instagram with a festive photo.
