A London hospital received a cooling cot in memory of baby Hamish to help grieving parents say goodbye.
Whittington Hospital in north London has received a refrigerated cooling cot, donated in memory of baby Hamish, who died in 2012.
Funded by £6,457 raised from a quiz honoring him, the device allows grieving parents to spend time with their baby after death, creating lasting memories.
Hilary Grierson, Hamish’s mother and an ambassador for Abigail’s Footsteps, has now helped provide 13 such cots, with another being ordered for a local funeral home.
The donation aims to support bereaved families, reduce stigma around infant loss, and promote compassionate care.
