Four suspects from Los Angeles were arrested on December 15, 2025, in the Mojave Desert for allegedly plotting coordinated New Year’s Eve bombings at multiple logistics centers. Linked to a Turtle Island Liberation Front offshoot, the group planned backpack pipe bombs disguised with fireworks under a scheme called “OPERATION MIDNIGHT SUN.” Authorities seized bomb-making materials and a handwritten plan, preventing any attacks. A fifth suspect was later arrested in New Orleans. The suspects face federal conspiracy and explosives charges.
