The UAE has opened the Emirates Medical Centre in Khan Younis, Gaza, as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, offering primary care, emergency treatment, specialized services, and a pharmacy. The facility aims to strengthen Gaza’s healthcare system amid ongoing challenges. UAE officials highlighted the initiative as part of sustained humanitarian efforts under Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s leadership. The World Health Organization commended the UAE’s long-term support, including the UAE Field Hospital and deliveries of medical supplies, ambulances, and convoys, which have helped improve healthcare access and capacity across Gaza.
