Strickland Metals found high-grade copper-gold mineralization at its Serbia project, boosting its potential as a major resource.
Strickland Metals has announced strong drill results from its Copper Canyon deposit in Serbia’s Rogozna project, confirming extensive shallow copper-gold mineralisation.
Two diamond drill holes intersected high-grade zones, including 134.6 meters at 0.6% copper and 0.1 g/t gold, and 142.8 meters at 0.3% copper and 0.3 g/t gold, with notable sections up to 1.8 g/t gold and 1.3% copper.
Mineralisation occurs in green garnet skarn with sulphides like chalcopyrite and pyrite.
The results support the deposit’s potential as a major contributor to the Rogozna project, which holds an inferred resource of 8.6 million gold-equivalent ounces across 184 square kilometers in the Tethyan Metallogenic Belt.
Strickland plans a resource update for Copper Canyon in 2026.
