At least 10 people, including students and staff, were killed and 20 injured in a school bus crash in rural Colombia on December 14, 2025, as the vehicle plunged about 80 meters down a cliff near El Chispero while returning from a student-organized trip. The bus, carrying around 40 people, was traveling from Tolu to Medellín when it veered off the road. The driver, Johnatan Taborda Cocacolo, was among the dead.
