Irish toy shop sees surge in adult customers seeking nostalgic gifts.
A toy shop in Dunleer, County Louth, Ireland, is seeing a rise in adult customers, known as "kidults," who buy nostalgic toys for Christmas.
Owner Tony Duffy, 79, runs the family business, which has avoided electronics since 1938, focusing instead on imaginative, developmental toys like Monchichis, jigsaw puzzles, Lego Architecture sets, and board games.
About 30% of sales come from adults, including one woman who bought 23 Monchichis.
The shop also sells dress-up uniforms to help children overcome fears.
Despite strong online sales, many customers still visit in person, drawn by the joy and nostalgia the store offers.
