On Sunday, 90 international volunteers from multiple countries joined a blood donation event at the Shanghai Blood Center, organized by local authorities and the expat-led group Bloodline.
The event, which included cultural performances, highlighted Shanghai’s inclusive spirit and the global effort to support public health.
Ashish Maskay, a Nepalese surgeon and Bloodline founder, made his 60th donation, reflecting the group’s impact since 2017.
Participants, including Sri Lankan consul general Pamoda Gooneratne and German expat Dennis Olschewski, emphasized the importance of community giving and the universal need for blood donations.
