Halogen Capital, Malaysia’s first licensed digital asset fund manager, raised RM13.3 million (USD3.2 million) in a funding round led by Kenanga Investment Bank and 500 Global, with Kenanga acquiring a 14.9% stake.
The funds will support Halogen’s Real-World Asset tokenisation strategy, expanding access to onshore unit trusts, bonds, sukuk, private credit, and real estate for broader investors.
The round follows the growth of Halogen’s Shariah-compliant crypto funds, which now manage around RM400 million in assets.
The investment reflects increasing institutional interest in regulated digital assets and blockchain-driven finance in Malaysia.
