Gardaí in County Waterford are investigating a series of break-ins and thefts between December 5 and 11, including a shop robbery in Waterford city, a licensed premises burglary in Mullinavat, and multiple equipment thefts from rural sites. Stolen items include cash, a safe, mobile phones, power tools, and vehicles. CCTV footage has been secured in several cases. Authorities recovered about €1,600 in stolen retail goods in Dungarvan over the weekend as part of Operation Táirge, a regional effort to combat retail theft. Police are urging the public to report suspicious activity and provide information through local stations, a tip line, or online channels.
