Dangote accused Nigeria’s oil regulator head of corruption, blamed fuel imports for hurting local production, and announced lower petrol prices.
Aliko Dangote, Nigeria’s richest man, accused the head of the petroleum regulator, Farouk Ahmed, of corruption, alleging he spent $5 million on Swiss school fees for his children, calling for a government investigation.

He announced a drop in petrol gantry prices to N699 per liter, with retail prices expected to fall to no more than N740 in Lagos starting Tuesday, led by MRS stations.
Dangote emphasized the refinery’s high-quality, straight-run fuel and urged regulatory independence, warning that import interests threaten national development.
