BJP urges MPs to attend key parliamentary sessions amid urgent air pollution debate in Delhi-NCR.

The BJP has directed its Lok Sabha members to attend sessions from December 15 to 19 during the Winter Session, which began on December 1 and ends on the 19th. The Lok Sabha convened with a full agenda, including tributes to former MPs, Question Hour, and the introduction of the Appropriation (No. 4) Bill, 2025, seeking additional funds for the 2025-26 fiscal year. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also moved supplementary financial demands. Meanwhile, Congress submitted an Adjournment Motion urging emergency discussion on Delhi-NCR’s severe air pollution, citing a 24-hour AQI of 461—classified as 'Severe Plus'—and highlighting failures in dust and waste management.
