Apex found high-grade niobium and rare earths in new carbonatite zone at Quebec site, staking 3,609 hectares to protect it.
Apex Critical Metals Corp. announced a significant discovery of mineralized carbonatite at its Lac Le Moyne Project in Nunavik, Quebec, based on summer 2025 exploration.
The company collected 151 rock samples, identifying high-grade niobium (up to 0.40% Nb₂O₅) and rare earth elements (up to 0.50% REO) in a newly recognized north-south corridor, with elevated phosphate and fluorine levels consistent with carbonatite systems.
The findings suggest a buried mineralized source beyond previously mapped outcrops.
To protect the area, Apex staked 77 new claims covering about 3,609 hectares.
Follow-up work is planned for 2026.
