UAE relief teams have ended their mission in Sri Lanka, delivering 116 tonnes of aid including food, tents, and relief supplies following Cyclone Ditwah and landslides. Under President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s direction, the UAE’s search and rescue team recovered 20 bodies and treated eight injured individuals, working with local authorities. The mission concluded on December 13, 2025, reflecting the UAE’s sustained commitment to international disaster relief and Sri Lanka’s recovery efforts.
