Pauline Potter, a 62-year-old former contestant on TLC’s “My 600-lb Life” and once the heaviest person in the world, died on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, from complications following a January car accident.
Her son, Dillon Brooks, confirmed her passing on YouTube, citing ongoing health issues including an esophageal blockage, malnutrition, and a back infection.
Potter had lost about 400 pounds since her 2015 appearance on the show, reaching 223 pounds by 2020.
After the accident, she spent months in hospitals and rehab before entering hospice care in November.
No official cause of death has been released.
