ISRO has scheduled seven launches by March 2026, starting with a commercial mission deploying a U.S. satellite using the LVM3 rocket.
The first uncrewed Gaganyaan mission will launch a robot named Vyommitra to test crew module systems, including re-entry and recovery, paving the way for India’s first crewed spaceflight in 2027.
Other missions will test indigenous electric propulsion and quantum key distribution technologies, reduce satellite fuel needs, and deploy earth observation and international payloads.
The GSLV-Mk II and SSLV will also launch satellites, supporting India’s growing space capabilities and commercial launch ambitions.
