Two Smyrna, Georgia, police officers, MPO Edwards and Officer Lahr, saved a newborn who became unresponsive on December 10, 2025.
Responding to a 911 call at 8:40 p.m., they performed CPR and airway management, prompting the baby to regain breathing and grip Officer Lahr’s finger.
The Smyrna Fire Department took over care, and the infant is now recovering.
