Nebraska has hired Rob Aurich as defensive coordinator and defensive line coach, transitioning from San Diego State where he helped lead a top-5 defense in 2025, allowing just 12.5 points per game and recording three shutouts.
He replaces John Butler.
The Cornhuskers also hired Geep Wade from Georgia Tech to coach the offensive line, succeeding Donovan Raiola.
Wade brings 11 years of FBS experience, including developing multiple all-conference linemen.
