Dale Curtis, a driver from Hunstanton, Norfolk, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and banned from driving for 11 years after being caught driving while disqualified on May 16, 2025.
He fled police in a BMW across 30 miles in Oxfordshire, struck a police officer with his wing mirror, and abandoned the vehicle.
The officer sustained minor injuries.
Curtis, who had a history of driving offenses and prior bans, admitted to lying about driving but pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
