BJP blames Congress in Himachal for stalled projects and misused funds ahead of 2027 polls.
BJP leaders in Himachal Pradesh, including state president Rajiv Bindal and national president Jagat Prakash Nadda, criticized the Congress government for mismanagement, stalled development, and failure to deliver on promises ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
They accused the state government of misusing central funds, halting projects, and failing to utilize disaster relief, despite receiving substantial allocations.
Nadda promoted a "double-engine government" model, citing BJP successes in Bihar and Haryana as proof of public support for the party’s development agenda.
Ministers also urged Nadda to intervene with the Union government over pending financial dues, including nearly ₹9,200 crore in frozen National Pension Scheme funds and unapproved disaster relief totaling nearly ₹10,000 crore.
